About the artist - Angela Deiss
About the artist-Angela Deiss is a graduate of the East Carolina University School of the Art, finishing up her Undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. During her time at East Carolina University she studied photography, graphic design, metal design, painting, textiles and ceramics. Blue Cava Art was founded in 2018 and is located in the Coastal region of North Carolina. Angela is also well known for her work as a an Actress in film and television. Angela has been active in the film and television industry, where she has enjoyed helping on set and onscreen for over 30 years. Her experience allows her to help in different areas of the industry onscreen as a principal actress, background actress, artist for set design, hair, wardrobe or as an on set Medic. She has additional training in Emergency Medicine and is a Licensed Paramedic in North Carolina as well as an Associates degree in Cosmetology.
Career in Film and Television: Notable roles include Susan Sackler on Beth Macy’s 8-episode series Dopesick, Mendez wife on Apple studios Raymond and Ray, Mob boss Jane Tennally on SAG DC-48, Claires mother on What would Picasso Do, featured roles on Mayor Of Kingstown, Swagger, Tapawingo and The Business of Christmas 2. and assistant director for Always and Forever.
